Brent Barnett
Drums
Brent Barnett is a Bend local who has enjoyed playing music in the area since High School. At age 16 he bought his first set of drums and started a band the very same day. That band went on to win the first annual battle of the bands at Mt. View High School in 1997. Since then Brent has played in bands that range from Reggae, Hip-Hop, Blues, Rock, and Americana to name a few throughout the Pacific Northwest. Now, he has over 30 years experience behind the drum set and is excited to share his knowledge with his community.
Aside from his new role as drum teacher at Cascade School of Music, Brent owns his own video production/photography business (Future Filmworks) where he teaches film production and is the father of four boys ranging in age from 8 to 17. Rest assured, Brent has plenty of experience with adolescent youth and keeping them on track. His love of music and musical fortitude will have your student feeling right at home behind the drum set.
