Adult Group Classes
The benefits of music don’t end once one enters adulthood. The cognitive, social, health and educational benefits are abundant. Primary goals for our adult students are that they make progress and have fun! Cascade School of Music offers classes for beginning through advanced adult students.
Intergenerational music classes have been shown to provide benefits for adults and youth. Adults benefit from enhanced socialization, a greater sense of engagement in their communities, and better emotional, mental and physical health. Younger students gain an emerging sense of empathy, including a more positive attitude toward aging. Studies have also shown that youth participating in intergenerational activities display a higher level of maturity and manners than their peers, improved academic performance, and greater self-control and patience.

Central Oregon Recording and Production Experience
Cascade School of Music and Central Oregon Recording (COR) jointly present this class designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a fully equipped recording and production studio.
Students will learn professional techniques to achieve quality recordings at home. We will cover everything from how to set up your home studio, different types of microphones and their uses, recording techniques for different instruments and vocals, mixing, and mastering your music, and more! We will be recording and mixing a band from start to finish while explaining the how and why of studio production. Along the way we will also highlight other career paths in the audio production field.

PLEASE NOTE:
Classes are held at Central Oregon Recording studio in Bend, located at 61419 S Hwy 97 | Suite N.
Registration closes 2 weeks prior to class start date.
Refund Policy: Payment is due at time of registration. Class tuition is fully refundable if a cancellation is received more than 48 hours in advance of a class start date. A prorated refund may be requested if a student drops prior to the third week of a class. After the third week of a class no refund will be offered.
Classes cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, will be rescheduled. If a makeup class can not be scheduled then a per class rate 50% refund will be offered.
