Seren Slade has been singing and performing professionally for the past twenty years. At 15 years old, Slade’s choir teacher strongly encouraged their parents to get them into vocal lessons so that they could hone their gift. During high school, Slade competed at state and national opera competitions, such as The Sunriver Music Festival and National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).

They attended COCC and Western Oregon University, studying Opera performance and microbiology. One year into their education, Slade took an opportunity to move and record in LA with producer Tim Miner. With two years of recording in a professional studio now under their belt (and surviving the starving LA artist experience), Slade returned to their home of Bend Oregon and began building their musical career. 

Slade has experience with bands of all genres, side projects, recording projects, and now has a love of musical theater productions. As a singer, their musical stylings range from opera to heavy metal, rock, pop, musical theater, and pretty much everything else. A diversity and versatility that makes them an effective teacher for a student’s musical journey.
