We offer in-person private lessons for a variety of instruments, including piano, voice, flute, acoustic and electric guitar, drums, violin, viola, cello, upright bass, electric bass, ukulele, mandolin, and harp,

Private lessons for most instruments begin at age six, but we do teach younger students depending on the instrument and student.

Our Kindermusik program classes teach ages 1–5.

For 30, 45, or 60-minute once-weekly lessons, the flat rate is $194, $274 and $354 respectively. Please see the Private Lessons page for more information.

Yes! CSM scholarship awards are donor-funded. Please visit our tuition assistance page to learn more about our scholarship programs.

We suggest the following companies for instrument rentals and purchases:

For school closures due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or an emergency, students will be offered a makeup lesson. If a makeup lesson cannot be scheduled, then a 50% per lesson rate refund will be credited to your account.
