The CSM Band Program strives to create the most personalized band experience possible, focusing on the skills and artistic interests of the individual students within a group setting. Also stressing the dynamics of accountability and teamwork unique to bands and performances.

Auditions for all bands are held in October. Band classes begin in January, run through April, May, or July, and have multiple performance opportunities including McMenamins, the Tower Theatre, Bend Summer Festival, and Bend Central District Festival.

The Awesome After School Orchestra is part of the CSM Outreach Program, sponsored by Pacific Power Foundation. This beginner strings class is held twice a week at Silver Rail Elementary from October through April, with a final performance at CSM’s Showcase at The Tower Theatre.

Our bands meet for 60, 75, and 90 minutes and monthly tuition is $100, $120, and $140 respectively.
