  • We offer in-person private study for a variety of instruments, including piano, voice, flute, acoustic and electric guitar, drums, violin, fiddle, viola, cello, upright bass, electric bass, ukulele, tin whistle, mandolin, harp, Irish fiddle, and Irish folk singing.

  • Private lessons for most instruments begin at age six, but we do teach younger students depending on the instrument and student.

    Our Kindermusik program classes teach ages 1–5.

  • For 30, 45, or 60–minute once-weekly lessons, the flat rate is $194, $274 and $354 respectively. Please see the Private Lessons page for more information.

  • Yes! CSM scholarship awards are donor-funded. Please visit our tuition assistance page to learn more about our scholarship programs.

  • CSM does not rent instruments, but we do have instruments on hand for students to try out during their initial lesson before renting or purchasing elsewhere.

  • School closures due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or an emergency, will be offered a makeup lesson. If a makeup lesson cannot be scheduled, then a 50% per lesson rate refund will be credited to your account.
